The Desert Defenders were at it again Saturday removing fountain grass and some small patches of buffel grass in the Massacre Wash area. Great to see the regulars and some new faces partake in this event. With this year’s rains, there has been a lot of new growth of fountain grass and buffel grass has really exploded as well. Our best chance of controlling buffel grass is finding and removing it while the patches and plants are small.
