Planting Day at Sears-Kay

We had a great turnout for the November 19th Milkweed Planting Event on the Cave Creek Ranger District. Twenty-five volunteers from Friends of the Tonto and Sierra Club met at Sears-Kay Ruin to plant 53 milkweed seedlings. All seedlings were grown by Friends volunteers over the summer from native milkweed seeds. It was a beautiful day to spend outdoors, catch up with old friends, and meet new ones. Thank you to all that participated!
