These photos taken 12/18/2022 illustrate the explosive growth of buffel grass in the Western Superstitions. Large patches are well on their way to becoming a monoculture as the buffel grass displaces the native plants. This will be an area of focus for the ACE Youth Group in January 2023 applying herbicide to try to get some control on it. This area is about halfway between Siphon Draw trail and Broadway TH.
