It’s done! Rob Bauer finished it Sunday afternoon while Scott was there for the final inspection and to pay him the well-earned final installment on the contract. Scott says the fence looks great and he saw it in action, turning away visitors who had driven there to go off-roading in the area north of the ruin. As for the material we got from the Cave Creek Ranger District, it worked out perfectly – right on the mark with no leftover scrap! As you will see in the photos, the color of the gates does not match the pipe. However, the gates are made with oxidizing steel and will soon rust to match.
