Our first Mapping and Monitoring event of the new season will be September 14. We will meet at the Wild Horse Trailhead off Bush Highway at 7:00 AM. The screenshot below shows the area we will be covering, checking the Yellow flags for any regrowth and removing any invasive we find. The Red flags indicate there were plants left there at the last visit and since the data shows these are small patches we’ll plan on removing them also. We’ll leave any larger patches for a Removal event.
This event will be limited to 5 volunteers. Since temperatures are still high, plan to be back to the TH by 10:00 AM.
When: September 14th, 7 AM – 10 AM
Where: Wild Horse Trailhead off Bush Highway
